This year’s EnerDry SteamDryer meeting was successfully held in Minneapolis, USA
Bringing together global participants for a productive two-day event. The first day featured an insightful tour of the two SteamDryers operating at the Renville Sugar Factory. On day two, attending factory representatives shared performance data from their previous campaigns, while future operators currently installing new steam dryers also joined the discussions. EnerDry provided the latest updates along with key recommendations for safe and optimized operations. Beyond the scheduled presentations, the event fostered valuable knowledge-sharing among SteamDryer owners – a dedicated community whose commitment to steam drying sugar beet pulp collectively reduces CO2 emissions by hundreds of thousands of tons annually.

This year the EnerDry SteamDryer meeting took place Reims, France.
Participants from around the world participated in this 2-day event, where we toured the impressive new SteamDryer installation at the Sté Emilie Sugar Factory on the first day. Day two each factory presented how their SteamDryer had performed in the previous campaign.
Also present were representants from the factories where steam dryers are currently being installed.
EnerDry presented news and recommendations for good and safe operation. Besides the presentations there were a lot of good discussions about SteamDryer operation amongst the group of SteamDryer owners – a group that reduces 100 thousands of tons of CO2 each year – due to their commitment to steam drying their sugar beet pulp.

The 2024 EnerDry SteamDryer meeting took place at the Könnern Sugar Factory in Germany.

This year the EnerDry SteamDryer Meeting took place at the Bay City Sugar Factory in Michigan.
Participants from around the world participated in this 2-day event, where we toured the Bay City Sugar Factory on the first day. Day two each factory presented how their steam dryer had performed in the previous campaign.

Besides the presentations there were a lot of good discussions about Steam Dryer operation amongst the group of steam dryer owners – a group that reduces 100 thousands of tons of CO2 each year due to their commitment to steam drying their sugar beet pulp.
SteamDryer Meeting 2022
Every year EnerDry invites to a SteamDryer meeting for all clients. This takes place somewhere in the world in cooperation with one of the companies already having a steam dryer. This year the 13th and 14th of June it was hosted by Nordic Sugar, at the Örtofta Factory in Sweden.
At the meeting the participants could exchange experiences and EnerDry presented news and advices for good and safe operation. The Örtofta steam dryer is a size 10, completely rebuild by EnerDry in 2021. Furthermore a general tour through the factory took place.
SteamDryer Meeting 2019
Every year EnerDry invites to a steam dryer meeting for all clients. This takes place somewhere in the world in cooperation with one of the companies already having a steam dryer. This year the 3rd and 4th of June it was hosted by Lesaffre Fréres, at the Nangis factory in France.
At the meeting the participants could exchange experiences and EnerDry presented news and advices for good and safe operation. There was at that occasion of cause possibility to see the old steam dryer size 8, which has been rebuild by EnerDry in 1998, but also the new steam dryer size G, supplied by EnerDry in 2015. Furthermore a general tour through the whole factory took place.
SteamDryer Meeting 2018
Every year EnerDry invites to a steam dryer meeting for all clients. This takes place somewhere in the world in cooperation with one of the companies already having a steam dryer. This year the 4th and 5th of June it was hosted by Suiker Unie, at the Anklam factory in Germany.
At the meeting the participants could exchange experiences and EnerDry presented news and advices for good and safe operation. There was at that occasion of cause possibility to see the steam dryer size 8, which was rebuild by EnerDry in 2009. Furthermore a general tour through the whole factory took place.
SteamDryer Meeting 2017
Every year EnerDry invites to a steam dryer meeting for all clients. This takes place somewhere in the world in cooperation with one of the companies already having a steam dryer. This year the 29th and 30th of May it was hosted by Sunuko, Serbia at the Pecinci factory.
At the meeting the participants could exchange experiences and EnerDry presented news and advices for good and safe operation. There was at that occasion of cause possibility to see the steam dryer size H, which started operation in 2013, and a general tour through the whole factory took place.
SteamDryer Meeting 2016
Every year EnerDry invites to a steamdryer meeting for all clients. This takes place somewhere in the world in cooperation with one of the companies already having a steamdryer. This year the 23rd and 24th of May it was hosted by the Amalgamated Sugar Company, USA at the Nampa factory.
At the meeting the participants could exchange experiences and EnerDry presented news and advices for good and safe operation. There was at that occasion of cause possibility to see the big steam dryer size J, which started operation in 2006, and a general tour through the whole factory took place.
SteamDryer Meeting 2015
Every year EnerDry invites to a steamdryer meeting for all clients. This takes place somewhere in the world in cooperation with one of the companies already having a steamdryer. This year the 1st and 2nd of June it was hosted by the Nitten Sugar Company, Japan at the Memuro factory.
At the meeting the participants could exchange experiences and EnerDry presented news and advices for good and safe operation. There was at that occasion of cause possibility to see the 2 new driers, which started operation in 2014, and a general tour through the whole factory took place.
